Community Waikato

Community Waikato (previously Social Services Waikato) works to support and strengthen community-based social services in the greater Waikato region.  They allocate Tindall Foundation funds in the Programme Area of Supporting Families and Social Services.

Community Advisors are available to work alongside organisations assisting them with governance, planning, management, co-ordination of services, employment, and other issues organisations face.  They also facilitate a number of networks in their region.

They provide training and workshops and distribute scholarships for those studying in their sector.  People in community organisations in the greater Waikato region are welcome to talk with them about how they can best be useful.
