Tararua/Wairarapa

Tararua/Wairarapa REAPs (Rural Education Activities Programme)

Tararua/Wairarapa REAPs are in partnership as The Tindall Foundation Funding Manager in the Tararua/Wairarapa region, supporting the Foundation's goals of building effective relationships with communities in the Programme Area of Supporting Families and Social Services.

Each REAP is a community-based flexible resource, funding a range of educational programmes.  Their assistance is based on avoiding duplication of services, adding value to opportunities that already exist and providing resources where they do not.  REAP is based on the belief that local communities are best able to identify and direct resources to meet their own special needs.

Tararua/Wairarapa REAPs work with a variety of groups, schools, agencies, funders and individuals in co-operative local initiatives.
