WesleyCom Aotearoa New Zealand

WesleyCom is the Social Service Standing Committee of the Methodist Church. In 2000, in consultation with its Treaty partners, Te Taha Maori, WesleyCom established a Methodist policy on social responsibility, entitled 'Breaking the Cycle'.

WesleyCom is the co-ordination body for all Methodist social and community services throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. The members of the WesleyCom committee are appointed annually by the Methodist conference. membership is drawn from people in the four main Methodist Missions (Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland), along with people from social service initiatives in Hamilton and Palmerston North and members of local Parishes.
