The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army's Christian based ethic forms a solid foundation for a programme of non-discriminatory caring for all in need. Such services provide for families and individuals in crisis, the elderly and lonely and those enslaved by various forms of addiction.

The organisation also provides education and training for young people facing the prospect of unemployment. The Salvation Army manages its resources to ensure these caring services are available at all times to people in their time of need. The organisation thus seeks to fulfil its Mission Statement: 'Caring for people, transforming lives, reforming society.'
