Faith & Regional Communities

Strategy Outline

People from some regions, income levels and ethnicities face great hardship which leads to major social problems.  These are well known and too large for the Foundation to manage alone.  Skills-building and community-led programmes appear to offer the best hope for long-term improvement.

The Foundation has been vitally interested in this area and has developed Faith and Regional Funding Managers to make local decisions on the most worthy recipients of its smaller local donations for this Programme Area.

Funding Managers are provided with general Tindall Foundation guidelines and make their own decisions on particular initiatives to support.  They are requested to favour those with a strong local and voluntary focus that help the most needy in their communities.
