Small and rural communities are often best served by local agencies which take on a wide range of functions for their communities (e.g. information provision, community education, youth work, volunteer support, capacity building etc), none of which on their own is sustainable. They often have a lot of volunteer support and become the heart of their community.
The Foundation can give one-off support to sustainable community organisations which provide essential services, in order to upgrade or improve what they offer. These organisations can apply directly to the Foundation through an online application.
Smaller-scale community services and initiatives can receive Tindall Foundation support through its Faith and Regional Funding Managers.
